Sergey Kuraev has passed away

Dear colleagues and friends!

With deep sorrow we inform you that today, on the first of June 2007 in Bonn, Sergei Nikolaevich Kuraev's heart has stopped beating.

We have lost a wonderful man, who has been standing at the background of the development processes concerning the UN Convention on Global Climate Change
in Russia, as well as a key specialist in international cooperation, sustainable development and environmental protection.

For many years we've been near a very light, friendly and kindhearted man, who shared with us his love for life, the great positive energy and optimism.
It's difficult to think that he won't be with us anymore.
