The work within the framework of this component of the e RREC activity is aimed at facilitation of the development and strengthening of capacities of non-governmental sector for participation in environmental assessment of economic activities and protection of rights of the citizens in the course of implementation of large-scale projects.
Within this area of activity RREC:
- Provides legal and environmental support of investment projects and legal support for the public participation procedure.
- Organises public participation in Environmental Impact Assessment Procedures for the business projects inter alia of trans-boundary scale
- Develops methodological guidelines on public participation in environmental impact assessment.
